Paul & Dave
Paul Silberschatz and David Janssens founded Starhaven because they love working together and share a passion of helping kids.
Paul and Dave met 20 years ago when they sat next to each other as engineers at IDEO. They became fast friends; enjoying going on trips, prototyping crazy ideas and ultimately raising their families together. One of those ideas became Knit Health, a startup that used AI and computer vision to help kids and their families sleep better. Google acquired Knit Health in 2018. At Google, Paul and Dave helped to innovative new technologies and experiences for sleep and health.
To start Starhaven, Paul and Dave organized Wunder Camp, a week long family camp that let's kids be kids and families connect (without screens). The campers feedback and insights were the inspiration for Starhaven's first products (coming soon). And the Wunder Camp tradition continues this summer in Iceland!
