Our story
Around campfires. On road trips. Thru many restless nights. Designed with our families & kids — for your family & kids.
Our why
Childhood is changing. Screens are louder. Schedules are fuller. Time outdoors is shrinking. Kids need more open sky. More imagination. More shared moments that don't revolve around a device.
Starhaven exists to help kids and their families unplug, explore, and build memories that matter.
Our beginning
From the lakes of northern Michigan to volcanoes of Iceland, we saw what happens when kids are given space outdoors — they move differently. They imagine more. They grow.
But we also felt the friction — restless nights that derailed mornings, overplanning that drained energy, gear that didn't quite work for real family life and travel.
Those trips became our Wunder Camps — our testing ground and our classroom. We are families building for families.
Our adventures
We are serious about adventure. Twice a year we bring families together to explore, connect, and unplug at Wunder Camp — Starhaven's Family Adventure Camp. Follow along on our adventures.
Our vision
We're building a community for family adventure — one that removes friction and restores magic. When sleep works, families have energy. When planning is simple, families feel confident. When play is intentional, kids thrive.
Unlocking creativity, wonder, and connection.

our commitment
Our team brings decades of experience in thoughtful, human-centered product design — grounded in the lived reality of parenting. We design products to be handed down. Repaired. Reused. We reject disposable culture and short-term thinking.
The future isn't someday. It's theirs.
01
Our products are made from recycled, non-toxic materials. We work with sustainable suppliers who support building products the right way — not the cheapest way.
02
Our products are meant to be handed down generation after generation. We want them reused — and we design them to be repaired.
03
We strive to give every child access to outdoor adventure. A portion of sales go to our Kid's Camp Fund — a scholarship program to help kids go to summer camp.
